The birth of cSixx, a little more than 10 years ago was in the form of MHD chainguides a company Mark Hopkins started after suffering a frustrating Chain derailment in the finals at the Downhill World Championships in Spain 2000.
During the years of 2002-2004 up to 60 % of the field of DH riders in South Africa were using our initial Carbon Fiber guide.
In 2004 Mark left the chainguide market to start Leatt and has now returned with 2 years of testing under our belt with the new 110gl and 150gm guides.
We’ve been concentrating on an intensive rider research and testing program to ensure product reliability and testing the accepted thoughts on what chain retention is. The result of this is a product that speaks quality through both performance and looks.
